Almost a quarter of a century ago, the rich and unique bird life of this island convinced naturalists that Cousin Island should be preserved for posterity by placing it in the care of Bird Life International and Bird Life Seychelles.

Today, amid an estimated quarter of a million seabirds that breed there each year and a large number of nesting sea turtles, the island is also home to the near extinct Seychelles Brush Warbler and is one of only three islands where the Seychelles Fody is to be found.

Itinerary
0800hrs	Pick up from hotel or airstrip and transfer to boat departure point
0900hrs	Boat departs Praslin for Cousin
0945hrs	Arrival and disembarkation on Cousin Island
1015hrs	Guided tour of the island
1200hrs	Depart Cousin for Praslin island
1300hrs	Arrival on Praslin and transfer back to hotel or airstrip

NB:
Not recommended for the elderly or the disabled
Beach wear and light casual clothing such as tee-shirts & shorts with
trainers or comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
Please wear your swimming costume under your clothes as there may be a possible
wet landing depending on tide movements.
Please ensure that all photographic equipment is waterproof wrapped.
Bring along a bottle of mineral water.
