The « Grand hôtel des Mascareignes » is situated on the west coast of Reunion Island, in the seaside resort of Saint-Gilles-les-Bains. It is 30 minutes drive from Saint-Denis, the capital and 35 minutes from the International Airport, « Roland-Garros ».

Situated on the "côte sous le vent", the « Grand hôtel des Mascareignes »*** overlooks the Boucan-Canot, the most beautiful beach of the Island. It has been entirely renovated in 2003 with the aim to make it become the most beautiful 3 star establishment of the Island. The special materials used create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. White and red linen, coconut rugs, Indonesian wood, rattan sofas and the omnipresent bunches of tropical flowers contribute to this atmosphere of pleasure!

Since June 2004, the hotel is affiliated to the Best Western, a guarantee of an international quality service. It can thus meet up the challenges of a concerned customer who wants to combine business and holidays.


The swimming pool, an aquatic space of 700 m², has a surface of an Olympic pool. It has been restored with chalky stones chosen for its sandy colours. All the entertainment performed
in the central area has been conceived to satisfy customers on holidays with their family.
The hotel is ideally placed for excursions towards the Maïdo, the cirques Mafate, Cilaos and Salazie,
the piton des Neiges and piton de la Fournaise.
