All guest rooms have either two twin or one
king-sized bed, private bath with shower and toilet, mini-bar,
satellite television, I.D.D telephone, radio, electronic room
safe, hair-dryer, tea/coffee-making facilities and air-conditioning.
All the rooms have a private patio or balcony furnished with
cane furniture. 83 rooms are furnished with two queen-sized beds.
20 pairs of interleading rooms are also available.
  
RESTAURANTS AND BARS:
Wide selection of restaurants and bars.
Citronella's Cafe: an oceanside restaurant that serves light
Mediterranean cuisine meals.
La Rhumerie: open every evening and offers a huge range of traditional
rum and other alcohol.
Mon Plaisir Restaurant: Open-cooking buffet.
Paul & Virginie's Seafood Grill: Located on the beach at
La Pirogue.
Plantation Pool Bar: Set in the middle of the pool.
Sugar Club bar: This bar specialises in soft drinks, fresh juices,

SPORTS AND LEISURE:
Free of charge: sailing and boating, snorkelling,
water-skiing and wind-surfing, swimming pool and seven tennis
courts (floodlit).
For a fee: scuba diving, big-game fishing, para-sailing, horse
riding and golf.
The Sugar Club is an air-conditioned health
and fitness centre with a fully equipped gymnasium. In addition
there is a hairdressing salon and a beauty centre which provides
body treatments and therapeutic massages.
Evening Entertainment
Mauritians are excellent musicians and singers, and séga
is the country’s emblematic dance.
Frenetic in its rhythm, sensual in its movements and colourful
in its expression, it is showcased in Sugar Beach Resort’s
Séga Evening, complete with traditional instruments
(triangle and ravane) and blazing campfire, on the beach.
At some point in the show, guests are invited to join in.
It is an experience not to be missed.
Tuesday night is Jazz Night with the Sugar Jazz Band.
On other evenings there are variety shows, such as Francofollies,
Bollywood Indian, Latino Tropicana and Espionnage; without
forgetting the resort’s resident band for dancing till
the small hours of the morning, every night.
   
Kids
In Sugar Beach Resort’s Fun Kids Club, our guests’ younger
children have their very own paradise.
The Club welcomes children aged 2 to 11 years for fantastic
and unforgettable holidays at no extra charge.
Those aged 2 to 4 require the presence of a parent or, subject
to extra charge, the services of a babysitter.
The Club’s theme, which sets its play ambiance and special
décor, is Hansel and Gretel, in tribute to King Sugar.
On the beach, in the sea or in the swimming-pool, everything
makes for true moments of happiness and complicitous laughter.
It is also an opportunity for the kids to make new friends.
In the good care of devoted, watchful and perfectly trained
staff, your children savour their holiday experience at their
own pace.
Teenagers have their own Club too, which fulfils their expectations
with dynamic and cheerful activities commensurate with their
tastes and wishes.
